VBS will be held at Laguna Beach UMC:

WHO MAY ATTEND VBS?
Any child from Preschool-5th Grade is welcome to attend.
HOW MUCH DOES VBS COST?
EARLY BIRD PRICE- $30 per family.

HOW DO I REGISTER?
To register fill out our Registration Form.
You must also fill out a Medical Release and Permission Form for each child attending. You
can email these forms to office@lbumc.org .
WHAT IS VBS?
Vacation Bible School-- VBS is camp with heart and soul! Children rotate in groups through activity stations led by experienced and enthusiastic adult volunteers. Teen guides offer support and fun! All activities relate back to Bible story values to support a loving life.
DO PARENTS ATTEND VBS?
VBS is a drop-off day camp program. Parents may enjoy a few child-free summer hours. If you want to stay, parents are welcome to become VBS Volunteers! Kitchen Crew, Recreation, Building Challenges... Contact Family Ministries Coordinator: Barbara Crowley bbdoc@cox.net
What are VBS activity stations?
Music, Group Celebration, Welcome Time, Building Challenges, Craft, Snack, Outdoor Games & Activities, and Science Experiments.
WHAT DOES VBS TEACH?
LBUMC teaches that God loves us and asks us to
love one another. Bible Stories reflect values for a loving life. Prayer is how people talk to God.
WHO ARE VBS LEADERS?
VBS adult volunteer leaders and Teen Helpers are members of LBUMC with experience working with children.
will children stay with their siblings?
Children are grouped by age, to ensure activities that are age-appropriate. Kids play together for the first 30 minutes of VBS to meet friends. If there is any reluctance or resistance, leaders will group children with their siblings.
covid considerations:
Masks are optional for all staff, congregants and choir members during any church sponsored activity for indoor and outdoor areas, unless mandated by federal or local authorities.
