What to Expect
Our welcome team will make you feel right at home when you walk through the doors of LBUMC
How long are the services?
60 minutes. On Communion Sundays, about 60-70 minutes (the first Sunday of every month) . Be sure to stay and connect at Fellowship Time after the service!
What is the dress code?
Wear what makes you feel your best! From flip flops to heels and from slacks to shorts, we welcome you.
What is the music like?
How does LBUMC serve children and their families on Sundays?
Children of all ages are welcome in worship! Early in the service, children are invited to participate in our Children’s Moment, coming forward to sit on the steps. Parents/guardians are welcome to accompany their children if they'd like. After the Children’s Moment, children can participate in Sunday school or stay with their parents/guardians for the remainder of the worship service. Children 3 and under are welcome in our Nursery Care which is available 30 minutes before the service and 15 minutes into Fellowship Time following the service.
We enjoy live music and offer a wide variety of traditional and contemporary music throughout the service.
Where do I park my car?
We have two free parking lots and free parking along Wesley Drive. The upper parking lot is handicap accessible.
How is LBUMC responding to COVID-19?
We invite all those attending in-person worship to make the best decision they can for themselves and those around them when it comes to wearing a mask indoors.
